The same doctors and nurses from detox into residential care

Detox takes days. The effects of withdrawal linger for weeks. At Pines the team that got you through the first nights is the team that treats what comes after, because they know your history.

  • Medical detox

A physician sets your protocol. Nurses check on you through the night and adjust comfort medication as withdrawal moves.

  • Residential treatment

After detox you stay on the same campus for individual and group therapy, with a plan for what comes next.

  • Mental health, treated at the same time

Many people drink or use to cope with anxiety, depression or what happened to them. A psychiatrist and licensed clinicians treat both together.

What families ask first

What is medically supervised detox?
A clinical team manages your withdrawal. Physicians and nurses are on site 24 hours a day to watch your vital signs, ease symptoms, and use medication when it is clinically appropriate.
How long does detox take?
Usually a matter of days. It depends on the substance, your health and your history. The medical team sets the plan from your assessment and adjusts it as you go.
What happens after detox?
Detox clears the substance from your body. The work of staying off it comes after. Most people move into residential treatment on the same campus to stabilize, start therapy and build a plan, with the same team.
Will insurance cover detox?
Many major PPO plans cover medical detox in full or in part. We work with plans from all of these carriers. Call and we will check your benefits confidentially.
Is my call confidential?
Every conversation is private and protected under HIPAA.
