From the first call through aftercare.
Your care starts on the admissions call and runs through detox, residential and aftercare planning. Each stage has someone accountable for it. The admissions counselor, the attending physician, the primary therapist, the case manager and the alumni coordinator all have their responsibilities written into your chart.
Families are looked after in parallel. With your consent, our family liaison keeps them updated, books family therapy sessions and helps them prepare for visits and for what comes after. Without your consent, family education, crisis-line referrals and Al-Anon and Nar-Anon resources are still open to them.
Aftercare planning is done during residential. Your case manager works out what comes next based on where you live, what your insurance covers and what the clinical team recommends.
Communication, charting and data handling are HIPAA compliant. Substance use records carry extra federal protection under 42 CFR Part 2, which limits redisclosure even between healthcare providers. You can put privacy preferences in writing at any point, and our admissions, clinical and alumni teams follow them.
